Sarikei Wharf Esplanade is located between Terminal 1 & 2 jetty. It is basically in front of the town's bus station.
The esplanade was officiated in 1991
The esplanade is an ideal place for evening stroll and sunset watching. The esplanade is facing the Rejang River and the sun set in the west where the river flows towards the open sea.
There is still a lot of room for improvement for this esplanade and I hope the concerned authority see the potential in it and take the neccessary steps to glorify it.

I think more lighting will be better. as you said, room for improvement.

too plain.. must plant many many colourful flower...
There are sheds around the esplanade. If it rains, probably the best place is the nearby shops, bus station and food court for shelter
