Batik was selected as the theme for the raya decoration at The Gardens Mall this year.
The concept doesn't diverge much from last year, simple yet elegant.
They did an amazing job with the batik but I not too sure how it can relates to the ongoing Raya atmosphere.

Raya Decoration 2013 @ KLCC
A mini Minangkabau kampung house was erected at KLCC's centre court as part of the Raya deco for this year.
The structure was set in lush greenery and colourful flowers. The intricate artwork on the roofs are certainly eye catching.
I remember seeing this candle deco as part of the deco last year. Well, at least they don't put it to waste.

Marutama Ra-Men @ Fahrenheit 88
There is a eating place on the first floor of Fahrenheit 88 which specialize in Ramen. I had passed through this place for quite some time and it is time to give it a try.
The outlet do not seems to have a strong followers based on the number of visitors inside the restaurant most of the time. The inside decor is quite simple.
The window view of what appear to be the back of the bustling Bukit Bintang area.
Muratama prides itself with Toripatan soup (creamy chicken) served with home made Hakata-styled ramen noodle. Marutama Ramen (RM 19) is made by boiling chicken bones for long hour without MSG at all. The pure milky white chicken based soup is topped with seaweed and spring onion. The noodles are quite thin and definitely give another option for Ramen lovers who are used with the pork broth version.
There isn't much beer choice over here and I opted for a can of Sapporo beer (RM 15). Wish they had a bottled one instead of the can.
Marutama Ra-Menis worth a visit for those who loves Ramen. The food arrives fast and the service here is quite efficient. A good place to relax after a hectic walk and shopping around the area.

Raya Decoration 2013 @ Pavilion KL
Pavilion KL choose a more traditional theme this year for the Raya deco by transforming the main course into a bustling kampung with specially erected traditional village house.
The deco this year is rather simple and nothing out of the ordinary.
The Mini Cooper which is on display is a big hit based on the number of shoppers which admire it.

Raya Decoration 2013 @ Midvalley Megamall
Mid Valley Megamall incorporate Malaysian icon, Tan Sri P. Ramlee as the raya theme this year.
The centre court has been transformed into a famous scene from one of P. Ramlees's notable films, "Ali Baba Bujang Lapok".
There is also a corner set aside to showcase life photos and facts of the late star.
This is the replica of the attire worn by P. Ramlee who took on the role as Chief Smuggler in his self directed comedy film, Ali Baba Bujang Lapok.
The decor is probably one of the best this year around the Klang Valley. The concept is fresh and it stands out compare to its competitors.

Lucky Plaza Bandar Park
Lucky Plaza (Bandar Park) is sort of a landmark along the 4th Mile Old Klang Road. However, it will cease operations on 31st August 2013 as the owners had order the tenants to vacate the premises.
I took this opportunity to immortalize the decade old shopping complex with some photos as it definitely hold some fond memories especially to the older generation.
Frankly speaking, I don't think I ever step into this plaza before, even during my 9 months stay at the adjacent Pearl Point Condominium around 1997-1998.
The main tenants of this shopping complex is Central Hypermarket, also known as Pasar Besar Central and Ace Hardware.
There is also a considerable size of wet market on the ground floor which utilize the sun light from the roof to illuminate the surrounding.
The wet market is pretty comprehensive and comfortable to shop in considering it is within an air conditioned environment. I definitely would have love to do my groceries here.
There are some eating places within the complex which include the famous Thai restaurant called Sabye Sabye.
This place is slated for development soon and there has been rumour that a condominium or even a hospital may be built here. Either way, Lucky Plaza will always be remembered by those who stay nearby it, especially the residents of the Old Klang Road and OUG Park.

Raya Decoration 2013 @ Sunway Pyramid
Sunway Pyramid embraces the colourful culture of the Ottoman Empire as their theme this year. Heavy Turkish influence and art are present throughout the mall.
A pool of water where the water flow is intended to soothe the visitors soul during the festive period.
One of the most striking decorative elements is the eye shaped amulet known in Turkey as "Nazar"
