Sarikei Lake Garden is located a kilometer away from the heart of Sarikei town. It is easily spotted via Jalan Repok when driving into the town.
There are amazing fish pond and the scenic view of landscape surrounding the garden makes it the choice for those seeking tranquility and calmness
The Lake Garden built in 1995 has become a favourite social gathering venue for the town's people in the evening for recreation and exercising.
Another prominent structure in the garden is the beautifully decorated water tower (which is now redundant). This is probably the most attractive water tower I ever come across. It is well crafted with hibiscus flowers around its tank.
Due to the cooling property of the water, it has attracted bees to built their hives around it. Quite a scary sight indeed
There are also a few structures around the lake such as the clock tower (which still function), sheds and mini arch

It's interesting that Sarikei has so many parks and decorated pavements right in town itself. Seriously I've never seen these even in KL itself. At most just trees and some green bushes :)
I agree with you just looking at the picture of that huge fish pond has already a soothing effect on me. The garden looks like a great place for strolling and relaxation.
pass there a few times but never went inside before. Not bad the garden see from the photos you posted.

The park looks clean! I love to walk in the parks especially those with a nice lake.
The water tower really looks unique in that surrounding. Yikes! The bees hives look scary! Won't want to disturb them! Otherwise may have to jump into the lake! LOL!
