Sometime ago, across the Rejang River, I notice something out of the ordinary when I saw timbers floating along the river. Apparently the timbers are been transported along the river.
There are boats at the front, back and side of the timber logs, guiding the logs to the intended destination. I can't be sure whether the logs were been tied together as all of the logs seems to be moving in cohesion.
It is indeed a cheaper and primitive way to transport the logs but I feel it will endanger the bigger ships/boats passing by the river

yeah i have seen this before in a documentary. in that documentary, there were a few men walking on those logs to untangle those seems to be hitting at each other too many times, on bare feet
