Whenever I need a ride from KLIA to KL city centre or vice versa, my preferred choice would be the KLIA Express.
The travel time from either direction is exactly 28 minutes no matter how many times I clocked it in my previous journey.
KLIA Express station in KL Sentral. At peak hour the train frequency is about 15 minutes and 20 minutes for off peak hour. The fare is RM 35 for one way.
The interior of the train is very spacious and comfortable. The train is rarely full and this make the journey enjoyable for me personally. There are plenty and huge luggage compartments along the aisle and above the seats.
If one got time to spare, there are cheaper ways to travel. One can opt for the KLIA Transit. Drop at any transit station, let say at Putrajaya Station (RM6.20) and purchased another ticket to KL Sentral from Putrajaya Station (RM9.50). If you don't fancy to lug your heavy luggage around, skip this tips.
The management also introduce another service which serve the low cost carrier terminal by KLIA Transit. It is not a direct train service though. One will need to take a connecting bus from Salak Tinggi station in order to reach LCCT.
This is the KLIA Express station in KLIA. One can actually just hop into the train from here without purchasing the ticket initially. Once arrived at KL Sentral, passenger can always still pay at its ticketing counter over there.
By using the train we are actually reducing the carbon dioxide emission from polluting our atmosphere. It's easily the fastest and greenest way to KLIA
