Masjid Assyakirin is located along Jalan Tanjung Kidurong, nearby the Medan Jaya Commercial Centre. The name of the mosque means "Gratefulness". It has been the centre of religious activities by Muslims in Bintulu.
The minaret is separated from the mosque structure, which is usually not common for mosque design.
The dome of the mosque is rather unique. There is a cascading man made water fall from the minaret to the mosque.
Here are some close up photos of the structure of the mosque. This is the largest mosque in Bintulu division
The mosque is also had a huge landscape with beautiful flowers and plants. I have no idea what this fruit is and I had seen it been sold in the markets around here.
