Wedding Day @ Groom's House

After the church wedding, the bride and groom will visit the groom's house.

The umbrella for the bride is a must according to Chinese tradition

First thing first, bowing to the earth and heaven, at the house main entrance

Next is the bowing ceremony where both groom and bride will pay respect to groom's parents, grandparents and relatives. Usually the groom's mother will present her daughter in law with jeweleries such as bracelet, necklace, ear ring or ring.

With that, the wedding ceremony was completed according to the Chinese tradition

thanks for the info Falcon---
.........and here's my response to your query.

Borneo Falcon --the sea below is the entrance to the capital City Manila.(manila Bay). During the battle of Manila in the 2nd world war, the Japanese sent there warships there and warplanes as back up. Those guns are anti-aircraft weapons used by the American-Filipino forces that time. That's why this place is a memorial for all those men who died defending us.....

Taking wedding photo is no easy task. Too many obstructions. I don't have much clean and clear shot.

It's so interesting to see different traditions. I didn't know about the umbrella or the bowing either. The white dress seem to be similar almost everywhere however.
