Across Raffles Boulevard is a massive convention and shopping development called Suntec City, noted for its gigantic water spewing Fountain of Wealth. Believe it or not, this is actually a roundabout. To get here, nearest MRT station will be City Hall. Then walk via the underground CityLink Mall to Suntec City
The purportedly auspicious bronze structure was inspired by the Hindu mandala but it did have some resemblance of an alien mothership about to take off.
The waters of the Fountain of Wealth Suntec City supposedly bring good fortune to the person who touches it.
The massive bronze fountain, which covers 1,683.07 sq metres is listed in Guinness World Records as the world's largest.
At the roundabout, there are the characteristic description of the twelves Chinese zodiacs. I was born in the year of the Goat and my wife, the year of the Rooster
One need to get down one level by stairs from the roundabout to touch the fortune water. Entrance is free.
There is an instruction on what to do:- Stretch out your right hand and touch the water
- Make a silent wish
- Follow the directional sign (clockwise direction)
- Walk around 3 times
So, I just go ahead and make my wishes. This is my second attempt here. My last visit and wish were back in 2002.By the way, Fountain of Wealth's view will be more spectacular at night

let's see... i did pass my exams for my first 2 years. there's 3 more years to go. so... wish isnt completely fulfilled. LOL

I touched the waters of Fountain of Wealth 3x already in the past 2 years... I am still waiting for its effect. hahaha! ;)
