While in Singapore's Chinatown Heritage Centre, I saw an antique sewing machine was on display there
Then I realized I had one sewing machine exactly like that at my home. I wonder how much this thing worth in the market now. This thing is heavy and it has 4 small wheels at the base to facilitate its movement.
The sewing machine is still functional and mother still using it for curtain and clothes. The structure is made of steel and wood. The sturdy construction will ensure this machine will last for a very long time

we used to have one too. but i dont know if it's still intact.
we also have one in my parents house... haha.. wanna go check can sell how much? hehe...
p/s: i guess the cover of the bridge is protect from snow when it is winter season.

i have the exact same machine at home too! and it's the only machine that i know how to use.. haha!
Personally, i like using the old sewing machine... they're better than the new ones..
I have one old sewing machine given by my sister in law and its still functional..
my wife love sewing and she uses the old one that my sister gave her..
hahaa.. my house got one too.. mom still use it to make clothe !
Goodness---we also have a sewing machine like that. With a case and everything. except that the brand is singer.....fun fun
we still have that sewing machine at home. it's grandma's sewing machine. I learned my first sewing with one of those. :))
