With 1.5km length of runway, it can accommodates ATR-72 aircraft. This is probably one of the most scenic airport in Malaysia with lush greenery and hill as backdrop.
The baggage claim area is as basic as it can get without any motorized conveyor. Everything is done manually here.
While waiting for luggage, there are some interesting photos hanging at the wall which can also be found at the National Park.
The airport is small and manned with minimal local staffs. The airport might have a simple design but it still has features and decorations which reflect the local culture here.
The only air conditioned area is the departure hall. Overall, phone and wifi connection are pretty bad here.
Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa is about 2.5km from here and this is the type of transport to ferry us there if one choose to stay there.
