This is Putrajaya's first national monument. It is situated in Precinct 2 on a 25ha park.
Standing at 68m, the monument is constructed of solid metal. It serves to document the country's history, dating back to the 15th century
The base of the monument is in the shape of a hibiscus flower, which is also the national flower.
The walkway around it documenting the history of Malaysia. It's an educational walk and I enjoy reading the historical facts as I goes along.
While walking up along the walkway, one will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Putrajaya Lake and its surrounding.
A bronze plate in way of the walkway to indicate the exact location of the visitor

The National Principles (Rukunegara) can be found all over the main pole of the monument
The highest point of the monument appears to be a light beacon at night

Wow, I didn't know there was such a monument in Putrajaya. I think it's a new addition as it wasn't there when I last visited the place.
