Leong Leong Cafe

One of my favourite place to get a snack on a hot afternoon while in Sibu will be a small coffee house called Leong Leong Cafe in Rejang Park.

This cafe had been established for ages and I remember my mother used to bring me here for cendol, rojak and kompia.

A bowl of this cool and refreshing cendol cost RM1.50 nowadays. Used to be RM0.30 cheaper few years back. The owner is very generous with the amount of red beans and grass jelly on it.

Kompia is Sibu's signature food and most popular pastry. At RM0.60 a piece, kompia can be eaten with stuffed pork, either in dry serving or soaked in rich flavour broth.

The rojak (RM3 or RM5) here is also a big hit but unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to feast on it as I was already full. The cafe also served fried noodles, bee hoon and kampua noodle.
