Konig Ludwig is another beer I came across lately which caught my attention. Surprisingly it is bottled in 500ml capacity as oppose to 330ml from the other beer manufacturers. A bottle of this beer is about RM16.49 in local hypermarket/supermarket.
Konig Ludwig is a German beer with its brewery in Bavaria. The current proprietor is the great grandson of the last King of Bavaria, Ludwig III.
The beer ingredients are water, wheat malt, barley malt, hop extract and yeast. It has a slightly higher alcohol percentage at 5.5%. It also has a tag line "Royal Bavarian Beer" due to its rich Bavarian history.
The beer pours a hazy sunshine yellow and form a thick head. It has wheat, banana, mild yeast and light coriander spice essence. It's nice to drink and does not taste too bitter. Overall, a fine wheat beer.
