The Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival 2011 (Floria Putrajaya 2011) is back from 9 - 17 July with "Roses Are Forever" as its theme.
The venue is the same as last year at Putrajaya Presint 2, just by the lakeside.
A total of 12, 000 roses of various types are been showcased at the festival, together with over 400,000 flowers, herbal plants, wild trees and ornamental landscape plants.
The festival is open to the public from 9am to 10am on Monday to Thursday and from 9am to midnight on Friday to Sunday. Admission is free.
The layout at the festival site is more or less the same as previous year. Hence, I manage to get my bearing around the site without much problem.
The gardens here are the contribution of the government agencies, growers, university, schools as well as from international participants such as Japan, USA and UK.
I took a lot of photos here and it might take a few posts to showcase them here. I find last year festival slightly better with better garden designs compare to this year.
