7th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2015

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta enters its 7th edition this year and as usual I made it to the site today for the record five years in a row.

 

 

 

 

As early as 7am, all the balloons are been inflated for take off.

 

 

 

 

 

I always enjoy the sight when all the balloons were released. Some of the balloonists skillfully piloted their balloons just above the lake.

 

 

The highlight this year is the Vincent Van Gogh balloon which pay homage to the famous Dutch artist. Unfortunately, this balloon was not able to take off this morning.

 

Other quirky design balloon this year features a penguin shaped balloon wearing Hawaiian clothes.

Humpy Dumpty balloon also made its first appearance here.

 

The Michelin balloon which never fail to make its appearance here. This balloon is usually dedicated for the tethered ride.

 

A giant white blimp which I believe belongs to the Perbadanan Putrajaya also made its maiden appearance here.

CNY 2015 Deco @ The Gardens Mall

Cherry blossom is the main theme for The Gardens Mall decoration this year with the main concourse filled with pink and red colour decorations.

 

 

 

 

 

The decorations used are synonymous to the Chinese culture as well as Chinese New Year

There are limited seats for those who are interested to have a sit under the cherry blossom and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and setting.

CNY Deco 2015 @ Midvalley Megamall

It's all about red clothes this year for Midvalley Megamall this year. It is a simple but meaningful concept.

The red clothes are hung in what appears to be a bamboo scaffolding.

 

 

Visitor can actually walk through it or sit at the benches and enjoying the surrounding atmosphere.

CNY Deco 2015 @ Avenue K

It's all about goat figures and Chinese lanterns at Avenue K this year as their CNY theme this year.

 

 

Instead of using the auspicious red or gold colour as the main theme, it seems the management has decided that purple is the colour to go for this year.

With the goat figures and lanterns hanging above, it creates a perfect backdrop for the stalls below selling CNY related products.

CNY Deco 2015 @ Fahrenheit88

Fahrenheit88 had put up  decent CNY deco this year. There are 2 drums at its main entrance which symbolize good energy and luck.

 

 

Once entering its main entrance, there is a 150 feet walkway titled "Walk of Prosperity" which is fitted with a canopy of cherry blossoms.

 

There is a garden of cherry blossoms with goat replicas at its main concourse area.

There is also a mini zodiac garden just outside the mall which worth taking note of.

CNY Deco 2015 @ Pavilion KL

A few years back, during the year of the dragon, Pavilion KL outdid themselves with a giant dragon at its main concourse. This year, it is no difference with the 9.1m tall Golden Goat which stands elegantly in the main concourse.

 

 

This goat replica has been recognised in the Malaysian Book of Records as the biggest goat replica.

 

The mall's entrance is decorated with an arched walkway mainly consist of red lanterns.

Once inside the mall, the Floral Garden of Prosperity offers shoppers with a perfect background to take photos
