Rojak Ah Chai (Teluk Intan)

Rojak Ah Chai stall is one of the most famous and visited rojak stall in Teluk Intan. The dilapidated stall is located at the intersection of Jalan Putra and Jalan Woo Saik Hong, just beside the Teluk Intan Wet Market.

From what I heard, Ah Chai is the original owner of this stall and the business has been passed down to his children.

His rojak was featured in various newspaper and without much competition around, it is easily the best rojak in town.

The coconut juice (RM 1.30) is refreshing but I was rather surprised it was served in a glass rather than the whole coconut shell.

Well here comes the main dish (RM 3). I detect cucumber, water apple, guava, turnip, pineapple, water convolvulus, bean sprout, tofu and fried fritters.

What I like about this rojak is that a lot of fruits went into it. The sweet and sour fruits complement the spicy sauce. The crunchiness of the fritters just took me away.

Without any doubt, Rojak Ah Chai is the best in town. The locals claimed the rojak made by the original owner is better than his successor.

It is cheap. Is there any landmark for this stall?

The rojak makes me salivate. Now, when was the last time I had my rojak bite?
