Moroccan Pavilion @ Putrajaya Botanical Garden

I stumbled this magnificent structure by accident while cycling within the Putrajaya Botanical Garden. I decided to venture further and later found out it is actually the Moroccan Pavilion.

The pavilion was built in order to boost the ties with Morocco. I felt like I'm already in Marrakesh when I stepped into the pavilion

The Moroccan Islamic architecture is stunning and unique. I guess not many people known of its existence.

It is a perfect place for photo shooting too. You can almost fool anyone that you are actually in a foreign land.

However, my short visit here was abruptly cut short by a security guard when I was told there is an entrance fee to visit this pavilion. I was rather shocked as I am not aware of it. It is such a shame the management decide to charge a fee for such a beautiful place which I reckon should be opened up to the public for free.
