Bersih 3.0 @ Sibu


Bersih 3.0 campaign kicked off today and I happened to be at my hometown. I decided to get a closer look at their campaign which was held at Sibu Town Square.

 
The crowd congregated at Chuang Corridor at the edge of the town square. The size ain't huge but they earned my respect for being able to bear the scorching sun in order to uphold their belief.

They encouraged the motorists which passed through Island Road to honk as a sign of support.

 
 
They request for a clean election and here are some of their demands. Anti-Lynas demonstration was also held simultaneously.

 
 
It was a peaceful demonstration and there were hardly any incident compare to the one in Kuala Lumpur
