Terminal Bersepadu Selatan

The Terminal Bersepadu Selatan at Bandar Tasik Selatan has been operational for sometime now and I decided to give it a thorough check while I was around.

Bandar Tasik Selatan has become a transportation hub of late with the ERL (Express rail Link), LRT (Light Rail Transit) and KTM Kommuter having a transit station here side by side.

The terminal serves as the bus station for all the buses to/from the South will depart and arrive at this terminal. The bus won't be heading to the Puduraya Sentral anymore for buses arriving and departing from Malacca, Johore and Negeri Sembilan.

For those who intended to reach KL, there is a shutlle bus to Puduraya Sentral operated by Rapid KL. Otherwise, the best option is to take the ERL, KTM Kommuter or ERL to the intended destination in KL.

The terminal looks very similar to any airport from the inside. This is probably the first of its kind in this country before Puduraya Sentral follow suit.

All the tickets are centralized and can be purchased at any ticketing counter. Just select the bus operator you want to travel with at the preferred time.

This is how the bus ticket looks like. It has pretty much all the information on it such as departure gate, bus operator, destination and departure time.

After purchasing the ticket, just head to the departure hall at the lower ground floor via an escalator. The access point to the departure hall is guarded by security, very much like in the airport and passenger must show the bus ticket in order to enter.

The departure hall here reminisce those of an airport. How I wish all our bus stations look like this.

The terminal also offers some shopping and dining experience with a few retail shops, food court and fast food restaurants

I am quite surprise to find a motel too within the terminal which offer RM 60 per night stay or RM 12 per hour. The motel also provide massage service to restore energy due to fatigue after a long travel.
