Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival 2010

The Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival is back and I spent more than 3 hours there until my camera battery was flat. I took a lot of photos and here are a glimpse of the event.

The event is definite a success and it includes the participation of secondary schools, local universities, federal government agencies as well as the local government agencies.

This year edition is the 3rd annual festival and dubbed Floria 2010 and carrying the theme "Tropical Splendor" is 50% bigger than the two previous ones.

The event is held at the waterfront of Precinct 2, just beside the National Millennium Monument. There is a free shuttle bus by Nadi Putra between Putrajaya Sentral to this site.

There are a few 1 Malaysia flowers which represent our leader's aspiration, can be spotted in several locations here.

There are so many gardens where visitors can actually sit at the available bench or seat and practically enjoy the lush surrounding. I definitely enjoying myself here and will definitely make another trip here as sort of a retreat for myself.

The event will be held until 18th July and I will definitely be back again, especially at night to witness its night scenery which I reckon will be spectacular.
