Megalith Park @ Putra Perdana Park

While strolling at Putra Perdana Park, I came across a Megalith Park. I was expecting something bigger when I learn about the existence of a Megalith Park here.

At first glance, one might misunderstood it as a graveyard but it is merely a collection of megaliths commonly found in Negeri Sembilan and Melaka

This park was completed in 2003 is perhaps the only megalith park of its kind in Southeast Asia, if not Asia.

It is said the megaliths found here dated to the late 18th century.

Megalith culture was part of a worldwide practice believed to have originated in ancient Egypt or Europe and arrived in Southeast Asia about 3,000-4,000 years ago. Some of the world famous megalith structures are Stonehenge and Statues in Easter Island

The layout 0f the Megalith Park

From the layout, I found out this to be the "Ibu" stone

These are the replicas of megaliths found at Pengkalan Kempas, Negeri Sembilan.

Sword shaped megalith inscribed with the word "Allah"

Spoon shaped megalith

Rudder shaped megalith
