Hotel Sentral

Hotel Sentral is the latest 3 star hotel in Brickfields. Its location is ideal and situated just behind the KL Sentral monorail station in Jalan Thambypillai. KL Sentral Station is just about 5 minutes walk away and is ideal for any traveler who intend to explore KL.

The lobby area is colourful and spacious. The staffs here are moderately courteous and I hope it can be further improved.

This hotel somehow cater a lot of tour package from Chinese tourists. So, expect it to be at near full capacity at all time.

The room is moderately spacious. Nothing out of the ordinary except it is new and clean. The room rate kind of fluctuate according to the occupancy rate. It should be around RM160-230. In my recent stay, the room is almost full and my room rate was at RM230.

I find the room rate to be expensive should it be more than RM200. There is complimentary breakfast and I am amazed that breakfast is ready as early as 0530.

I find the working table to be a bit small. All room is fitted with a flat screen TV.

Some of the KL's landmark structure such as KL Tower can be seen from the window view. The monorail track is basically just next to this hotel.

Toilet and shower room are separated by a door which can be rotated by 90 degrees.

Standard coffee and tea making facility. 2 bottles of 500ml drinking water included as complimentary.

Mini refrigerator and safety locker. The locker can fit my netbook in it.

The hotel can be quite noisy at certain hour due to the number of Chinese tourists staying here.

There is not much mid range hotel available around Brickfields area. Hotel Sentral is the best place to stay if one plan to stay close by to the KL Sentral Station.
