Shang Ti Temple @ Betong

Shang Ti Temple is probably the only Chinese temple visible in the vicinity of Betong town. We had a hard time locating it in the first place (as we assume the temple will be located facing a river and there isn't any river around). The temple is just beside the Panglima Rentap Hall at the edge of the town.

The arch at the entrance which mentioned this is a place of God (Shang Ti). Hence, the name Shang Ti Temple.

Interestingly, there is a contact number engraved at a corner of the arch

It is a small temple but still a beautiful place of worship from its paintings, carvings and statues around it.

That is Bengbeng taking his shot around the temple

The place was not manned at all during our visit as if the God is actually protecting this place from vandalism and any ill intention.
