Mango Chicken Rice @ Saratok

While looking for a place to have a lunch in Saratok, Bengbeng came across a coffee shop called Siew Liew Huon Cafe. It is located at the same row with Hoover Hotel.

We actually stumbled this place by accident due to the friendliness of the owner of this stall inside the coffee shop. He actually offered us free slice of mangoes (while he was peeling them) when we went pass through it and decided to give it a try.

The owner called this dish Mango Chicken Rice (RM 6). This is probably the first time I have chicken served with mango. It also comes with a bowl of soup which Bengbeng enjoy so much he requested for another bowl.

The chicken is nicely done and blend well with its sauce. The mango is sweet and simply refreshing. Cabbage and cucumber made up the side dishes.

Liew Huong was a popular coffee shop of Sibu. Could there be a connection with this one?
