Klang Bak Kut Teh @ Sibu

Klang is famous for its bak kut teh and somehow the name has been borrowed by someone here to set out an outlet called "Klang Bak Kut Teh". This is only my second visit here.

The shop is located at Jalan Kampung Datu. If i remember correctly, it was established in 2007. Back then this place is always fully packed.

The restaurant has diversify its menu since then with introduction of more Chinese dishes and local delicacies.

I kind of like its marble table though. Nothing fancy here. It's an open air restaurant.

Here is the main dish. The bak kut teh. It is not the best bak kut teh in town though. The broth is average. I tried bak kut teh in Port Klang and the one served here is nowhere near that standard.

I read from some blogs that dried bak kut teh is now available in Klang. Apparently, they serve the same thing here too. This dish is spicy as it was cooked with dry chillies and herbs. For first timer to this dish, it tastes good but not great.

Total damage is RM17.60 (including pork's liver, yew char kuey and sugar cane drink)
