Laterns Light Display @ Sibu

The lanterns light were officially on last night and beautifully illuminate the town at night.

The dragon head at the Tua Pek Kong Temple is brightly lit. Red, yellow, green and purple lanterns can be found around the temple area.

Lanterns light at Chew Geok Lin Road

Red light lanterns dominate the Channel Road stretch. Such a scenic drive along this road at night

From Channel Road, the lanterns branch off to Pansar Building, heading towards Sibu Gateway

Sibu Gateway must be the highlight of the lanterns display as the square is brightly illuminated with multi-coloured lanterns.

The children seems to enjoy looking and playing under the sea of brightly lit colourful lanterns

Even the swan statue which sat on a giant lanterns is beautifully lit.

It is just nice to relax and soak into this amazing environment. The lanterns light will be ongoing until 4th October. It would be nice to see this lanterns again during the Chinese New Year celebration in a couple more months.

Superb journalism borneo falcon! Now I wonder why NO ONE bothered to nominate and vote for you in the nuffnang blog awards. Sure can out the rest of the finalists with the quality of your posts. Its just sad really. I tried to nominate but the submission page keep on giving me the capcha code error. I bet its rigged.
