Sugarbun Smoked Beef Chesseburger

Sugarbun introduced a new product for the month of August in conjunction with the Merdeka Month. The new product is named Smoked Cheeseburgers. There are 2 types of Smoked Cheeseburgers, smoked chicken and smoked beef.

The combo set is priced at RM9.80 and comes with french fries and a 16oz soft drink. Ala carte Smoked Chicken Cheeseburger and Smoked Beef Cheeseburger are sold at RM5.90 per burger.

The size of the Smoked Cheeseburger is not as huge as advertised. Obviously, my stomach will not be filled with this pea sized burger. I order the Smoked Beef Cheeseburger. It looks pretty tempting from its physical appearance.

The Smoked Beef Cheeseburger comes with grilled beef patty topped with cheddar cheese sliced and smoked breakfast beef slice (I initially mistaken the beef slice as bacon) served on sesame bun, smothered with special smoky flavour sauce and garnished with tomato, lettuce and dressed with mayonnaise and cheesy dressing.

This burger tastes really good. The breakfast beef slice added to this burger seems to make the difference. I have yet to try the Smoked Chicken Cheeseburger and I reckon it is as good as the beef version.

I really hope they make the burger size bigger so I can enjoy it more. The price tag for the Smoked Cheeseburger is rather expensive and I hope Sugarbun can somehow lower it to an acceptable level.

Sugarbun is a fast food outlet (just like KFC & McD), available only in Sabah & Sarawak.

I love that cheeseburger and fries. I haven't eat like that for a long time. I'm thinking of getting some tomorrow at Jollibee. Do you have Jollibee also there in your place?
