PIKOM PC Fair April 2009 @ Sibu

This is the first PC fair of year 2009. There seems to be a PC Fair once every 4 months. As usual, the PC fair in Sibu is held at Sibu Trade & Exhibition Centre from 17-19th April.

The crowd on the first day was huge. I had a hard time to negotiate my ways around the booths.

Here are some of the brochures I manage to get. I try not to get so many brochures as there are nothing new here.

I was there trying to look for Epson ink and a wireless modem. Epson ink is scarce whereas Canon inks are readily available here. Wireless modem sold here is way over my budget (Asus and Belkin brand)

As usual, I am not impressed with the PC fair in Sibu. Still a lot of emphasis on laptop which I am not interested. There are a lot of Acer brand on sale here. By the way, I really don't recommend Acer brand to anyone.

Since I like to built and upgrading my computer, I am looking at computer accessories such as power supply, motherboard, graphic card, RAM, hard disk drive, optical drives, fans and computer casing. However, only one booth manage to impress me with some high end products like Enermax cooling fans, Cooler Master casing, Corsair Flash Drive and RAM.

    There was a PIKOM PC Fair in JB too, but I didn't have time to visit it. Anyway, why not Acer? Is the quality not good?

    at times not all the products at the fair are cheaper

    Comprehensive coverage from the borneo daredevil reporter. This is the most detailed report on the pricing on any fair (KL included). Nice one to include scans of the brochure. Free advertising and promotion for the dealers there. Should've ask for some kind of incentive.

    KL PC Fair for me also nothing much... only ppl mountain ppl sea... coz I'm not so IT person... normally go there see any new thing which I dunno de.. or see leng luiss.. haha
