Kuching General Post Office

Kuching General Post office building is another historical landmark of the city. Built in 1931, this attractive building stands in the middle of the city of Kuching. The design is an imposing Neo-Classical with Corinthian columns.

The front of this building features round towers and giant pillar. The wall is decorated with intricate carvings.

The building was designed by Denis Santry of Messrs Swan and Macleran, an architecture firm in Singapore

i wonder if many people still send letters thru the post office. knowing that there's email already. but snail mail is still more personal.
