RCL Titanium Shuttlecock Review

After testing the RCL Professional, it is time to give RCL Titanium a try. RCL Titanium is regarded as one of first grade shuttlecock for RCL.

RCL Titanium is priced at RM55 per tube in West Malaysia. The price might be a bit steep for some of us. The expensive price for good shuttlecocks are now unavoidable.

The shuttlecocks were made in China and been distributed here in Malaysia by Tatt Seng Sporting Goods Sdn Bhd

This is probably the first time I ever see a code bar on a packaging of a badminton shuttlecock

The speed of the shuttlecock that is given to me is 77 which is fine with me as we used to play with this time of speed.

The RCL Titanium shuttlecock with the sticker at the base of the cock. The "RCL" word is in light brown in colour. First impression of the shuttlecock is good as the feathers appear to be strong

The flight performance of RCL Titanium is good and we were satisfied with it. This was how the shuttlecock looks like after a first game on a 15 points system. None of the feather had detached and the circular arrangement was still intact.

Since it was still in playable condition, we continue playing the same shuttlecock for the second time. The flight performance was still satisfactorily and the condition of the shuttlecock after finishing the second game amaze me. Still no feather detached and the original shape still able to be maintained.

Hence, we go ahead to play the third game with the same shuttlecock. The flight performance was still in acceptable limit in the third game. Notice the sticker had gone off after the third game, a testament on how much punishment it had endure. However, there was still no feather detachment and the circular shape still remain as it is suppose to be.

I am indeed surprise with the results. RCL Titanium is obviously far more superior than the RCL Professional. The flight performance is good and able to be maintained throughout the 3 games we played.

I played with this shuttlecock before, and I am really skeptical about your style of play, because, by the time we finish our three 21-point game, we finish 1 tube(12 shuttle) already.

All the shuttle have their feather torn out and is not reusable even for training purpose.

My father and many internet source said that the shuttle is durable and good in quality, i dont understand why my experience with it is so bad.
