The jetty at the Batang Ai Longhouse Resort is the gateway to the resort although there is a helipad (for emergency use only). One of my friend said the resort reminds him of a movie "I still know what you did last summer" as boat is the only way to reach this resort.
This jetty also venue for some water activities such as kayaking and fishing. We saw a family manage to get some decent size fishes from here.
This is the stairs from the jetty to the main block of the resort. It might be a tiring climb up the stairs all the way to the main block for those who are not fit.
The views from the jetty are quite a sight to behold. The water is clean but no one was seen swimming inside the lake. I reckon the lake is quite deep.
The jetty is a nice place for posing as the scenic background will make the photos look nice
There are fishes here. One can fish here at the jetty. Saw a family able to catch some decent size fish here.
The term longhouse is the pretty much the theme for this resort. It's guest rooms design is based on one of the native in Sarawak, the Iban's longhouse.
The lake looks clean and a comfortable place to unwind. I have never been in a kayak and it seems a good way to explore the lake.
