Chew Kee Noodle House

We had our first meal in Singapore (as we were told to come back and check in at exactly 2pm by Hotel 81 Chinatown) at a stall called Chew Kee Noodle House at Upper Cross Street.

This is the best chicken rice we ever had. The chicken rice cost SGD 6 for 2 persons and they are very generous with the portion. We will not get so much portion back in Malaysia and we really enjoy the food here. We plan to visit the stall again some other day but unable to do so as we were on the move visiting Singapore most of the time.

The stall also sell noodle as the signboard suggest. I believe the noodles will be equally delicious also

You are right Johnny. I find the food in Singapore is a lot cheaper, considering they don't have anything as compare to Malaysia where we rear chicken, plant paddy and etc.

Trust me, it is chicken rice. It is not plain rice. They add chicken stock to it as with any other chicken rice you find

haha, Singapore is also a food heaven! The price is quite reasonable, giving the fact that it is in that portion.

I agreed. Singapore food is considered reasonably priced with the quality we usually get (I mean usually, though not always).

We just had a meal at Chew Kee recently, but my parents don't like it and I find that its standard has dropped. I thought it was nicer.

I still love Ipoh food! =D

SGD 6 for two that's cheap.:) I love the food in Singapore but I haven't tasted a chicken rice yet.

Well, maybe even I would have loved it, even though neither chicken nor rice is any specific favorites of mine. You made me hungry anyway :-)

I think I might need to go to Asia to learn to like Asian food because it's so unfamiliar to me! Sounds like a great idea hah? *giggles*
