Central

The Central is a commercial and residential building located on Eu Tong Sen Street, opposite Clarke Quay along the Singapore River. The Central comprises of a five-storey shopping mall and 25 storey office tower

Opened in January 2007, the contemporary shopping mall sits on a site directly above Clarke Quay MRT Station.

We didn't really explore the shopping mall as we mainly used it as "pit stop" as my wife get tired easily after walking about 30 minutes or so. These are the chairs we sat to rest and take a break. My wife like the chair design pretty much

The interior of the shopping complex is also huge and beautiful. It's a shame we didn't really spent more time here.

I don't know what this shop sell but the wall decoration is something out of the ordinary

One of the exit of the shopping mall will lead to the Central River Promenade where Clarke Quay is just opposite the river bank. It is quite a relaxing walk down this promenade and enjoying the view as well as the Singapore River

I also note this structure at the promenade. The promenade is definitely a good place to chill out at night.

Wow! It's a very impressive mall with lots of interesting design details. I'd love to take a stroll around there to see what they got. I bet it's quite different from over here :-)

For those who are curious why there was relatively no shoppers there was because we were there early in the morning, I reckon at 9.30am where most shops there open at 11am
